Non-technical Category
Social Engineering (Phishing and Vishing) - More details to be provided
Experience the psychology of cyber manipulation through the Social Engineering challenges. Understand the techniques used by malicious actors to deceive individual into revealing sensitive information. Put yourself in the role of a malicious actor to pilfer sensitive information through phishing emails and vishing attempts. This category will help you develop a keen eye for spotting and defending against social engineering attacks.
Participation
You can participate as a solo candidate or in a team. When participating in a team, only a team of two (2) people are allowed for the Digital Forensics, Network Security and Ethical Hacking categories. For Social Engineering category, a team of up to four (4) people are allowed.
Eligibility Criteria and Rules
- Must be age 18 or above
- A resident of Botswana
- Participants must have registered to participate before the deadline and have received a confirmation of being selected for participate.
- If a participants is found at any time to not meet the above requirements, he/she would not be allowed to participate.
